Electronics engineers design and develop the systems used by machines and equipment in lots of industries, from mobile communications and computing to aerospace.

If this appeals to you, why not apply for an engineering apprenticeship.
Electronic Engineering Apprentices undertake a period of structures off-the-job training to achieve the following:

  • Assembling and testing electronic circuits
  • Maintaining electronic equipment/systems
  • Producing electrical or electronic engineering drawings using a CAD

Functional Skills training is a fundamental part of the Apprenticeship and provides further development in everyday work related skills.

Technical Certificates for Apprentices are undertaken over two years on a day release basis at ATG Training – Future Centre.
