Workshop contents

  • Suspension theory including how to calculate spring rate, what oil weight to use and how dampers work.
  • A full break down of modern suspension technologies from companies such as Rockshox, Fox and Manitou.
  • Stripping and servicing a range of suspension products including, coiled forks, air sprung forks, open bath damping systems, cartridge damping systems, coil rear shocks and air sprung rear shocks.
  • Frame technology including modern linkage designs and the theory behind them including, 4 bar linkage, faux bar linkage, single pivot, floating shock and virtual pivot linkages.
  • Servicing a linkage system including fault finding and bearing replacement.
  • Suspension overview, set up and tuning methods.
