EL5 Part P - VRQ for Domestic Installers
This qualification was developed in partnership with the Electrical Contactors Association (ECA), National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC), Corgi and SummitSkills.
The qualification has been developed to comply with the requirements of Part P of the Building Regulations introduced by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM). This requirement means that from 1 January 2005 electrical installation work in dwellings will need to comply with Building Regulations (Part P) and work will need to be carried out by persons who are competent to do so.
