BTEC National Certificate in Operations and Maintainence Engineering Details

This Level 3 Technical Certificate can be incorporated into the Advanced Apprenticeship. It provides underpinning academic knowledge in a specialised work related course. Assignments are based on realistic situations and the project is directly related to the learner’s workplace. It is equivalent to two “A” levels and learners can progress to the Higher National Certificate or an Engineering Foundation Degree.

Who Should Participate?

Engineering technicians who want to enhance their engineering skills and knowledge and may want to progress into higher education and / or management positions.

Course Structure

The course consists of twelve units: six core units and six specialist units.
