Equality & Diversity

It is ATG’s policy to recognise and encourage the valuable and enriching contribution made by all who work and learn here.  ATG Training is totally committed to ensuring that you have every opportunity to reach your potential - whatever your race, religion, ethnic origin, colour, gender, sexual orientation, age or disability.

When you join or visit us, you will have the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and different parts of the world, in an atmosphere where multicultural diversity is not only valued, but actively encouraged and monitored to ensure that the highest standards are maintained.

It is our aim to always provide an inclusive working and learning environment where students and staff are fully respected and supported.  We have an Equality and Diversity Committee, which monitors the implementation of our policy. We also aim to foster links with statutory agencies and voluntary groups, and play a full and active part in the wider life of the community.

Disabled Learners

ATG Training is well-equipped to assist students with disabilities.  Disabled parking bays are available close to entrances. Disabled toilets are conveniently located on both floors of the building. Ramps facilitate wheelchair access, and lifts allow access to the first floor.  Please make sure that we know what you need so that we can make reasonable adjustments to help you succeed.

Learning Difficulties

Through the initial assessment program that all students engage in prior to joining ATG Training, individual training needs are identified. This allows for differentiation of training needs for everyone.

Class sizes are based on a ratio of 12 students to each tutor. Where required one-to-one training is readily available.
