We are offering one hour taster sessions in a number of career options during half-term week in February. The only requirement to attend is that you are aged 14 years or over.

Taster sessions offered in:
Engineering
Electrical
Childcare
Everybody who attends a session will be entered into a prize draw to win an iTunes voucher.

Apprenticeship Week - Men in Childcare

We want to challenge gender stereotypes, so, as part of Apprenticeship Week 2010, we are launching our Men into Childcare initiative, to encourage more young men to train and pursue careers in the Childcare sector.

 

Dates of taster sessions:

  • Wednesday 3rd February 2010, 2pm - 3pm & 5pm - 6pm

Everyone who attends a session will automatically be entered into a prize drawto win an iTunes voucher.

Women into Technology this year

We want to challenge gender stereotypes, so, as part of Apprenticeship Week 2010, we are launching our WITTY initiative to encourage more women to train in technical subjects like, Engineering Design, Electrical Engineering and Information Communication Technology.

ATG Training offer Apprenticeships in the following Technical disciplines:

  • Electrical Installation 
  • ICT Practitioners (hardware) 
  • Mechanical Engineering including Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Electronics 

To enable more young women to try out these technical subjects, we are offering a variety of practical taster sessions, just for them!

  • Computer Aided Design - Tuesday 2nd February 2010, 2pm - 3pm & 5pm - 6pm
  •  Electrical - Wednesday 3rd February 2010, 2pm - 3pm & 5pm - 6pm 
  • Electronics -Thursday 4th February 2010, 2pm - 3pm & 5pm - 6pm
  •  ICT Practitioners (hardware)Thursday 4th February 2010, 2pm - 3pm & 5pm - 6pm 

All the sessions are free of charge (but will only run subject to sufficient demand). Everyone who attends a session will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win an iTunes voucher.
