CIEH Principles of Manual Handling Qualification

The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 set no specific requirements such as weight limits, but focus on a hierarchy of safety measures during manual handling operations. Employers have a duty to make a suitable and sufficient assessment of the risks to the health of employees by trained, competent people. This half-day workshop is offered to meet your workplace needs. It is delivered as a standalone qualification and there are no specific prerequisites, but it is recommended that delegates also hold the CIEH Foundation Certificate in Health and Safety in the Workplace or IOSH Certificate “Working Safely”.
