Advanced Apprenticeship in ICT Services and Development Details
The Advanced Apprenticeship has two routes:
- System Support provides an in depth knowledge of computer and network systems for PC Technicians, Systems Administrators, Desktop Support Technicians and Systems Administration Managers.
- Software Development provides the best possible preparation for Software Developers and Web Designers.
Both routes can lead to opportunities in a management role or into Higher Education. NVQ Level 3 is part of the Advanced Apprenticeship and is delivered in the workplace. Apprentices are assigned a qualified, occupationally competent assessor at the beginning of the programme, who supports and guides them through the apprenticeship. During this training programme you will be working towards a Technical Certificate, which is delivered on day release at ATG.
Who Should Participate?
All those wishing to gain Level 3 in IT Services and Development and are employed and have the required entry qualifications. Funding may be available for those under 25.
