Matthew Goodrich

Matthew Goodrich was appointed Head of Cycles in 2008 having previously held the position of Cycles Manager since 2005.

Matt is a keen rider when time and commitments allow and brings to the cycle programme a wealth of experience gained first hand in the cycle industry from sales, distribution and retail. After leaving university (Business Studies and Spanish Language) Matt worked for a large IT company as a sales manager specializing in Disaster Recovery among other things, a skill which thankfully has not been drawn upon on many occasions. He also holds various NVQs including a level 4 qualification in management.

He has been instrumental in the development of the cycle programme, from the authoring of technical certificates at level 2 and 3, to expanding the training provision through expansion and new venues.

The Cycles Academy has gone from strength to strength, the pragmatic and creative approach ensure the programme is kept up to date and world class in its delivery.

Matt rides a miscellany of cycles, like most riders the collection is always changing and currently includes a Turner DHR, an Intense Uzzi and Intense 5.5, a Cotic Soul, Klein road bike and Brooklyn Machine Works Park Bike, oh and a single speed pub-bike.
