Electronic Measurement and Testing

Course Overview


Delegates will develop an understanding of the function, features and characteristics of electronic measurement and test equipment.  The delegates will gain practical experience of using the equipment when carrying out electronic testing and measurements in a wide range of electronic engineering applications. This course is specifically intended for delegates wishing to gain an understanding of measurement and test equipment.

Learn to

  • Understand the function, features and characteristics of electronic measurement and test equipment.
  • Select and use electronic measurement and test equipment to make meaningful measurements on an electronic circuit.
  • Understand the principles of calibration and configuration of electronic test equipment.
  • Select and use virtual test instruments and software to make measurements and analyze measurement data.


Mode of Delivery


The course will include theory and practical exercises. Course materials summarising process steps and key learning points will be given to each delegate for easy reference and use in their own working environment. The course materials and presentation briefs will be customised for the specific delegate group.

Individual Participant Projects


On completion of the training delegates will be required to complete an assessment exercise.
