Solidworks – Introduction to Surfacing
Course Overview
Introduction to Surfacing shows you how to build freeform shapes using SolidWorks 2009. Day 1 will introduce the
concept of surface modeling using small worked examples. Day 2 will continue this theme using more complex
modeling exercises finishing with a design project
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for Engineers/Designers with design experience

A working knowledge of SolidWorks 2009

Section 4: Surface Modeling Techniques
- Projected curves, curves on surface and
intersection - Boundary
- Ruled
- Lofting
- Sweep
- Fill Surface Feature
- Blends
- Patches
- Corner Blends and Fillets
- Indent
- Knit Surface
Section 5: Project
- Applying knowledge gained in sections 1 to 5
to undertake a surface design project
